Homes will go off the market and so will your choices. 

 You will see this happen more and more these days.  So Buyers if you really want a home you shouldnt wait.  More Sellers will be pulling their properties off the market and your choices will be dismal.  Buyers should be aware that Sellers know the conditions of the market and will look at any offers.  You just have to try, you never know.   The properties that will be left on the market will not be as desirable therefore the few choice listings will have more activity and even more offers.
